NESA MORE INFORMATIONS ON CA_MIS (Comprehensive Assessment Management Information System)

CAMIS stands for:

Comprehensive Assessment Management Information System

It has a question bank aligned to Rwanda’s competence-based curriculum and a management information system (MIS) that enables teachers in Rwanda to record assessment results and to monitor student progress.

Teachers will be able to create and access comprehensive assessment questions that test higher order thinking skills from a question bank on CA-MIS.

Teachers will also be able to access projects designed by NESA which they can assign their learners from CA-MIS, and access rubrics to mark them.

CA-MIS can be accessed through 2 ways:

●A web application via computer or a smartphone using internet connection.

○Specifically targeted to teachers who have access to internet, computers or own smartphones.

●USSD with a mobile phone and no need for internet connection

○specifically targeted to teachers who live in areas with internet access challenges or do not possess laptops/smartphones to facilitate online access to CA-MIS.
